About the Cover of On the Wings of the Wind

We’ve been asked some interesting questions about the cover. Some people aren’t quite sure what to think of a picture of Jesus beside a young girl clad in a swimsuit.
On the Wings of the Wind begins when Pat was a California beach girl. She loved to walk along the beach and play in the water. But even then, when she was out enjoying herself in the sunshine, Jesus was watching over her, as He has watched over her throughout her life and as He watches over all of us who accept Him as our Lord and Savior.
The talented artist Aundrea Hernandez made the picture of Christ transparent, with the water and rocks visible through His body, to signify that His presence is real but spiritual rather than physical.
The book contains more wonderful illustrations by Aundrea to emphasize the meaning of the words. We hope you like them as much as we do.
