A Lovely Note from a Reader

Dear Pat and James,

I received your book today, opened it immediately, looked at the cover, looked at the back cover, and I did not want to put it down.

I read the intro and the acknowledgement and knew this was going to be a book that I would truly enjoy.  I wanted to start reading immediately, and I did.  My heart was captured from the first words of the book—they were drawing me in. Your words painted such vivid pictures of scenes and feelings.  I’ve lived such a similar life, and God has blessed me, too.

Right after my husband of 37 years left, my best friend’s mother sent me a “Pass It On” card that had Jeremiah 29:11 on it, and I claimed that verse right then and there.  I can relate so to your experiences, even though I was only single for a year.  Yes, I heard the whispers of the Spirit.  I was given directions and even a vision in the early morning hours.  This vision was the Shepherd looking over a field of sheep.  Two of the sheep had shared the same pasture for 37 years, but one had left going toward the mountains. The other wanted to follow, but the Shepherd said, “Keep your eyes on me.  Stay with the flock. I’ll go after the lost sheep.”  I was obedient and did what He directed and he blessed me for it.  To hear your stories and know that someone else had these incredible miracles and blessings in their life re-ignites the excitement I felt during that time.

…  I believe every word of your book and know that God truly does work in that manner, as I’ve experienced it.

Truly blessed,

Molly Spencer
