A Not-So-Chance Encounter
December 29, 2009 on 7:00 pm | In On the Wings of the Wind & Authors | No CommentsHi, Patricia, I just wanted to let you know what an encouragement you were to me yesterday. (I was standing in front of you in a long line at a store in San Antonio.) I don’t think that I mentioned to you that I have been widowed four years now, and I think your book should be an encouragement. I just ordered [On the Wings of the Wind], and I hope to read it when I return home. I don’t think that there are any coincidences, and I am always amazed at how God puts people in my path that are just what I need at that time. God does supply all our needs. May God continue to bless you and your husband’s ministry. Your sister in Christ, Teressa F.

A Reader Says …
November 1, 2009 on 11:17 pm | In On the Wings of the Wind & Authors | No CommentsWe got a note from a reader, Jan Doughty of Redmond, Washington.
She said she received a a copy of On the Wings of the Wind while in Louisville, Kentucky and when she arrived home, she started to read it. The book was so inspirational and uplifting she had to share it with her two daughters. After they read it, they felt it really wasn’t just for a book for women, but for men as well. Therefore, she gave it to their husbands and sons to read.
We always enjoy hearing comments like this because we know the Holy Spirit is working in the lives of more people.
Operation EBook Drop: Free Books for Troops
October 28, 2009 on 11:12 pm | In On the Wings of the Wind & Authors | No Comments
We are excited to offer a free e-book of On the Wings of the Wind to deployed soldiers.
Operation EBook Drop takes requests from military members for e-books. The troops’ contact information is sent to participating authors, who make their books available free to the soldiers.
We are making On the Wings of the Wind available through Smashwords, an e-book distributor. Our book is availble for sale there in a variety of formats. For Operation EBook Drop, we send the soldiers a coupon for a 100% discount. They can download the format they prefer for their e-book reader or computer and read wherever they are deployed.
Like our donations to the Wounded Warriors project, this is one more way we support our troops and thank them for their service.
